WANDSWORTH YOUNG CHAMBER

Wandsworth Young Chamber was launched at Roehampton University in September 2017 as part of Wandsworth Chamber of Commerce. Focusing on the business interests of Wandsworth's younger generation in schools, colleges and Universities as they take first steps into commerce, employment and entrepreneurship.

Young Chamber Aims:

The aim of the Young Chamber is to help younger members of society to become inspired, make their own local business connections and through this develop business mentoring and work placement opportunities with other Wandsworth Chamber Members' businesses.

How we will help:

Wandsworth Chamber will run a series of events for Young Chamber members, delivering useful business information and opportunities to network and develop business contacts throughout the borough. We will work with the South Thames College's 'Take One' programme to encourage employers to work with young people, offering work experience, mentoring, apprenticeships and employment opportunities.

How to join Wandsworth Young Chamber:

The age range to be a Young Chamber Members is between 16 to 25(ish). Young Chamber members would typically be students, young start up entrepreneurs and employed business people. Young Chamber membership is free.

Business wanting to support the Young Chamber:

We encourage all local businesses to support the aims of our Young Chamber through sponsorship, hosting events and by attending Young Chamber events and meeting and encouraging our younger generation. They have so much to offer and perhaps a fresh outlook and approach may be mutually beneficial to your business.
