The BeyondAutism Post-19 team has supported Sincoln to channel his passion for art and graphic design into a successful business. Not only does he create his own cards and artisan crafts, but he has also developed the financial literacy that enables him to manage his own budget and be his own boss. We have helped take this learning out of the classroom and into a real-world community setting, where Sincoln sells his bespoke designs at Southside Shopping Centre in Wandsworth every Tuesday. "I am always excited to go to the Southside stall!" – Sincoln In the community, Sincoln isn’t just selling his art, he’s working independently and refining the social and communication skills that will continue to serve him well in life. Sincoln’s story shows us what's possible when autistic young adults have access to the education and support they need to belong, succeed, and lead lives full of opportunity, choice and independence.
