Over 200 business people and local VIP’s gathered at Battersea Power Station to hear presentations from Natwest Bank who sponsored the event and Treasury Holdings, owners of the site. The Chamber had invited members of other Chambers of Commerce in London which made it one of the most successful networking events in London. Attendees also had the opportunity to discuss business opportunities at the promotion stands.

Chamber Chairman Chris Wyatt welcomed the Mayor Cllr Jane Cooper and Leader, Ravi Govindia  who both endorsed the work of the Chamber and congratulated them on the event and on the transformation the Chamber has undergone in the past few months.

Presentations were made by Rebecca White and Darren Heath on behalf of Natwest Bank, while  David Twoig on behalf of Treasury Holdings gave an update on the most important development site in the country which will bring jobs and residents to the area and re-vitalise the Nine Elms area.

This Chamber event is the start of a series of high profile events the Chamber will be running throughout 2012 and beyond. The aim is to promote its vision, encompassing the  slogan: WANDSWORTH WORKS!
