Ninety members and guests attended the LinkedIn Masterclass run at Roehampton University by Roger Jones, Research Fellow at the University to universal acclaim. The event was supported by the University as part of its Employability and Entrepreneurship programme.Roger gave an overview of LinkedIn and its capabilities to enhance business networking. He then went into more practical detail on creating valuable profiles and establishing and using groups to exchange information and make connections.

An hour’s presentation was followed by 20 minutes of questions. Steve Pinto in charge of events management at the Chamber gave a short talk on the changes in the Chamber and future events which will include similar technical seminars of the type given at this Masterclass.

The presentation was followed by the usual networking over a glass of wine and with 90 present it was an excellent opportunity to make connections which we hope will be followed up via LinkedIn. Chamber members are encouraged to work on their profiles to complete them to the 100% level, make connections with other members and join the Wandsworth Chamber group.
